The first beast – the beast out of the sea, with seven heads and ten horns – is a figurative entity that denotes both the Antichrist and the world-controlling beast government that he incarnates and sums up in his own person. In Butler, PA, on July 13, 2024, an assassin named Thomas Matthew Crooks tried to take Donald Trump’s life. Crooks failed, only (apparently) succeeding in clipping the top of Trump’s right ear with a bullet fragment – or, as some speculated after congressional testimony by then-FBI director Christopher Wray, with perhaps a shard of glass.                  It has now been a week since Charlie Kirk, the young right-wing activist and public speaker, was assassinated in broad daylight at a university in Utah. I have deliberately refrained from writing a post about this event until I could take some time to collect my thoughts, consider the evidence, and gauge how people in the public sphere would react to news of this tragic event. In Daniel 7, the fourth beast with ten horns is joined by the later addition of an eleventh one – this is the “little horn” (a “trump” or “trumpet” is literally a little horn ) that becomes “great." This is the Antichrist. Many prophecy researchers online have speculated that the current coalition of ten nations known as BRICS or BRICS+ might constitute that original ten-horn confederacy amongst which an eleventh horn arises (horns are used in Bible prophecy to refer to kings/princes/rulers). If BRICS+ is the beast system, I see that it currently has ten member nations: Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa (the original grouping); and Indonesia, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Ethiopia (they joined recently).
